Celebrating a Decade of Employee Dedication
As we commemorate 10 years at Touchstone ABA, we reflect on the incredible journey our employees have taken together. Our entire team’s dedication, passion and commitment have not only shaped the organization but also touched the lives of countless clients and their families. In this special anniversary blog, we share the reflections from three long-serving members of the Touchstone team:
A Journey of Growth and Evolution
Angie Lanoux, who currently serves as a Family Services Coordinator working directly with families guiding them through the onboarding process to facilitate a smooth transition into services. Angie joined Touchstone six years ago, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the nonprofit sector. She shares, “The supportive culture here made my transition seamless. Over the years, I’ve witnessed tremendous growth in our services and expansion to more areas of Louisiana. This growth is a testament to our commitment to serving the community’s needs."
Paula White began working at Touchstone in 2014 when the company first opened its door. Paula is a Licensed and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a CABAS teacher II, a Board-Certified Educational Diagnostician and, a Certified Special/Elementary Education Teacher. She recalls her early days: "I joined Touchstone with the belief that I could make a meaningful difference, and I’m proud to say that this hope has been realized many times over.”
Bobbie Fremin Lorenzo started her Touchstone journey eight years ago as a behavior therapist at Touchstone’s New Orleans clinic. She has grown in her career, earning her master’s degree, board certification, licensure, and is now a CABAS Teacher II. Bobbie’s growth within the organization reflects the opportunities available at Touchstone. "I have been privileged to work my way up within the organization, learning and growing with every step. Touchstone’s commitment to professional development has not only shaped my career but also allowed me to contribute meaningfully to our clients’ lives," she says.
Making a Difference in the Lives of Clients and the Community
At the heart of Touchstone’s mission is the desire to make a lasting impact on the lives of our clients and the broader community. Angie speaks passionately about this impact: "I can’t even begin to imagine how profoundly our services have affected our clients and their families. We’ve seen firsthand the difference that our work makes and it’s incredibly rewarding."
Paula adds, "I think Touchstone has made a difference in the community by improving the lives of our clients. The positive changes we bring about ripple through families and the community, creating a better environment for everyone."
A Culture of Support and Excellence
The culture at Touchstone is one cornerstone of the company’s success, providing a supportive environment that fosters growth and collaboration.
Paula highlights the high expectations that drive everyone to excel: "Touchstone has great expectations for each of us, and it’s this culture of excellence that has pushed me to grow both personally and professionally. The support I’ve received has been instrumental in my development."
Bobbie emphasizes the collaborative spirit that defines Touchstone: "The culture in our organization is unlike that of any other place I’ve worked. It’s a culture that encourages collaboration, growth and a sense of belonging.”
Celebrating 10 Years Together
The 10th anniversary of Touchstone ABA is more than just a celebration of an organizational milestone—it’s a recognition of the people who have made it all possible. As Angie reflects, “I can’t help but get a bit emotional when I think about how far we’ve come. It’s been a remarkable journey, and I’m grateful to be a part of it."
As we look forward to the next decade, we extend our deepest gratitude to all our employees, clients and community partners.
