NOLA Family Magazine – Summer Camp Decisions for Children with Special Needs
One of our very own BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), Angie Moran, was interviewed by NOLA Family magazine on helping parents make decisions about summer camp for their special needs children. This is especially important for children with autism spectrum disorder. Angie suggests things like taking a tour of the camp ahead of time to familiarize them with the venue including the playground, the bathroom, and where they will eat lunch.
