Mary earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education and her master’s degree in special education with Severe and Profound Disabilities from LSU in 1986.

She then worked as an early interventionist for ARC, LSU Human Development Center, and West Feliciana Parish for sixteen years. The following six years, she taught in an inclusive preschool classroom for Ascension Parish Schools and then accepted the position as the Special Education Coordinator and served in that role until 2017.

Mary is the founding site supervisor for our Baton Rouge location at St. Lillian Academy.  She opened the clinic for school aged children at SLA in 2017 and started the clinic for preschool children at SLA in 2020.

Her first introduction to ABA was as Pat McGreevy’s graduate assistant from 1984 to 1986. She took a colleague’s advice and contacted Dr. Gautreaux in 2008 which led to an introduction to Dr. Keohane and then she was “hooked.”  She enrolled in the first ABA cohort at Nicholls and became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst in 2011.

Mary is currently a member of the Parent Collaboration team for Touchstone. Her parent support efforts are driven by her belief and commitment to collaboration- the key to a successful relationship which contributes to our clients’ successful long term outcomes.

She particularly loves sharing strategies with parents that enable them to find joy in their interactions with their children.
